Kaptn's Fischhus in Wangerland

Super delicious food !! The fried potatoes were perfectly seasoned and fried with crispy bacon cubes, plenty of crabs, a very lovingly decorated salad with croutons and sunflower seeds - which we definitely did not expect at a “fish stall”. The staff was also super nice and exuded the typical North German charm in a very personable way.

Great Fischhus! Super tasty, freshly prepared and plentifully filled fish rolls in many variations! The staff is very friendly and the prices are right! Really great and only a stone's throw from the town center!

Very tasty food, prepared with love. Have now eaten there 2 times, each time different dishes and everything was tasty and good. You can eat outside, protected from wind and rain. Nice staff behind the counter. We would love to come back.

Reasonable prices and nicely made fish rolls. In contrast to "Here, rolls with fish", these were appropriately portioned and nicely arranged! We hardly skip a fish roll and these were pretty good. Our 2nd place after Ben so far!

One of the best food stalls in the region. Everything is freshly made to order here. In the courts, attention is paid to details. Fresh ingredients and not a lot of frills. Honest, very good and down-to-earth cuisine. We recommend.

Have eaten baked redfish. Unfortunately, it is a shame on the coast to have the fish served on a plastic plate; this can also produce a lot of waste. Have eaten fresh fish many times on the coast. But this one was already industrially prepared. More panats than fish. A Greek salad was served with it, which probably doesn't go well together. Will not go there anymore.

Very nice fish snack right on the dike with a view of the Jade. Delicious dishes and drinks at social prices. Harbor, showers, camper parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.

Moin, my experience this afternoon. Based on the recommendations I made my way here in the great weather. Many tables outside. Suddenly it roars three times across the square from the window: We take an hour break from 3:30 p.m. And the window closes. Continuous opening times are given here. With all due understanding for the staff ... that doesn't make a good impression.

Mega delicious food and rarely seen such a loving salad decoration. VERY RECOMMENDED 🙂

Good fried fish, delicious fries, good potato wedges. The prices are justified. The staff is very friendly, even when there is a lot going on. Snack at the harbor of Horumersiel with delicious, lovingly prepared food. The crab bread was a poem ...! There is a small point deduction for the watery apple spritzer.

Had a lovely cup of Coffee here, looking out to sea. The Cook is a little bit MAD in a very nice way. He would fit in Well in an old English market place... He has the Chatter... 🤣 🤣 😂
